DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Donovan Mitchell ($8,000): Mitchell has been putting up some big numbers lately despite the return of Conley. Your opinion on Mitchell should be based on whether you think he can keep up his January scoring onslaught or not. This is around the time of season that Mitchell usually gets hot and this is a great matchup. I doubt he slows down here.

Derrick Rose ($7,600): Rose has been lethal as a starter for the Pistons. The season isn’t totally lost, and even without Blake, this team has a shot to make a run. Rose just put up 45.5 DraftKings points on the Nets on Sunday. He should be somewhere close to that tonight which gives Rose a chance at 6x value.

Honorable Mention:

CJ McCollum ($6,900): CJ has actually been about as productive against the Rockets as Dame has. McCollum has only averaged one less point than the much more expensive Lillard in the two games. McCollum showed no ill effects from his ankle, putting up 39.25 DraftKings points in his return even with Lillard going off. Even if Lillard continues his hot streak, CJ should still get good numbers.

Dillon Brooks ($6,200): Brooks was shut down by the Nuggets in the first meeting. They were powerless to stop him last night. Brooks has three straight games of 35 or more DraftKings points and has hit 30 or more in seven of nine. The bad news? In the two games that he missed 30, Brooks was in the single digits. I don’t expect the Knicks to hold him there, so Brooks looks like a sure 30!

Dark Horses:

Patty Mills ($4,000): Murray, Forbes, and White are all slumping right now. Mills has picked up the slack. Despite the limited minutes, Mills is averaging a career high in scoring and three pointers this season. He’s always a risk in DFS, but you have to think Mills will continue to get good run for as long as the others are hurting the team more than helping.

Kent Bazemore ($3,400): So long as the Kings are missing Holmes and Bagley, Bazemore should have decent run off the bench. Bazemore put up 25.25 DraftKings points against Minnesota. The opponent was a lot to do with it, but Bazemore should do pretty well against a gutted Thunder bench. This is a big risk, but value at guard is nearly impossible tonight.
