Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 7 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Memphis at Philadelphia, Dallas at Washington
7:30 p.m. ET: Atlanta at Boston
8 p.m. ET: Toronto at Indiana, Detroit at Oklahoma City
9 p.m. ET: Houston at Phoenix
10 p.m. ET: Miami at Sacramento
10:30 p.m. ET: Portland at Utah

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

James Harden (at PHO – $12,100 on DK; $11,800 on FD): Westbrook will probably sit due to the back to back. Or maybe not because he missed some games. Maybe Harden sits? I assume one will sit in this game because it’s the Suns and a back to back. Meaning you should take the one who doesn’t sit because they are going to get numbers and have a high ceiling.

Kristaps Porzingis (at WAS – $8,800 on DK; $9,600 on FD): I’m going to assume that Porzingis will play despite the broken nose. Mask up. And if he does play, he should have no issue against the Wizards who haven’t played defense all season. Porzingis is at a great price given his ceiling and the matchup.

Deandre Ayton (vs HOU – $8,600 on DK; $8,800 on FD): I’m going to continue to take any center against the Rockets. The small ball lineup is going to get punished on the boards and the Rockets are willing to live with it because they’re going to take 60 threes a game. But that shouldn’t prevent you from taking a guy like Ayton who can rebound and score.

Bam Adebayo (at SAC – $8,200 on DK; $8,000 on FD): No Butler means more opportunities for Adebayo. And he doesn’t need more room to operate as he’s already a big part of the offense. The matchup is great against the Kings as well as even if they want to focus on him more, they aren’t exactly good enough to stop him.

Dennis Schroder (vs DET – $6,800 on DK; $6,900 on FD): Schroder continues to play with excellent consistency and now he gets a great matchup against a dreadful Pistons team. The OKC three guards rarely disappoint and this is another matchup for them to take advantage of. He’s an easy take.
