Scrubs

Danilo Gallinari (vs DET – $6,100 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Gallinari slips in under the salary line. The Pistons are good against the position but the issue is that they’re going to be short on forward depth with the loss of Drummond. And Gallinari has seen some time at the five. If Steven Adams had shown more in previous games, I’d like him here. But Gallinari gets his shots and can chip in with rebounds.

Christian Wood (at OKC – $6,000 on DK; $7,300 on FD): Wood has a big opportunity and those extra minutes should be beneficial to his game and numbers. It’s a tough matchup as the Thunder don’t give much room but the new opportunity is too good to pass up on. He’s not going to hurt you at the price and the ceiling is high given the circumstances.

Robert Covington (at PHO – $5,700 on DK; $6,000 on FD): There is value across the Rockets once again, especially if Westbrook doesn’t play. You know what the Rockets are going to do. There are plenty of shooting opportunities and rebounding opportunities to go around. And Covington is a guy who can chip in on defense. It’s a great matchup, grab someone on Houston.

Mike Conley (vs POR – $5,400 on DK; $5,200 on FD): Conley is back in the starting lineup and putting up some good numbers for the Grizzlies. The Blazers defense remains a mess despite them doingbetter on the offensive end. Something has to give in this game but Conley is at a great salary given the opportunities he gets, especially now that he’s starting again.

Goran Dragic (at SAC – $5,300 on DK; $5,300 on FD): If Butler doesn’t end up playing then Dragic is a great take because he’ll get extra opportunities as the primary ball handler. It’s a great matchup and there’s plenty of good value on the Heat if Butler and Herro are out of the lineup. Dragic is guaranteed value with a good ceiling.
