Duds

James Harden (at GS – $11,300 on DK; $11,000 on FD): This is about the money. Harden is at the top of the salary list, and even though it’s a great matchup for him, the Warriors know to send plenty pf doubles to take the ball out of his hands. That has me worried about his production and means a bigger game with Westbrook and the rest of the Rockets. Build around someone else.

John Collins (vs MIA – $8,700 on DK; $7,800 on FD): Capela won’t be back, so there’s no worry there for Collins. But it’s a tough matchup and there’s better value elsewhere on the board. Collins most likely won’t hurt you, but his ceiling is more limited given the matchup.

Jimmy Butler (at ATL – $7,900 on DK; $8,100 on FD): It’s a great matchup for Butler but also one where it feels like he won’t have to do too much in order to contribute. As previously mentioned, I really like Bam in this matchup and there’s some good value elsewhere on the Heat. Butler will sit back in this one.

De’Aaron Fox (vs MEM – $7,400 on DK; $7,800 on FD): Fox has been inconsistent in the last few games and even though his history against the Grizzlies is good, I expect a monster effort from the Grizzlies in this one. It’s time to get serious for the team to make a playoff push and they’ll be in a fight every night. Fox’s play before the All-Star break is too concerning for me.

Draymond Green (vs HOU – $6,500 on DK; $5,800 on FD): The price is too high for Draymond given his usual production. The lack of size on the Rockets typically has me liking opposing frontcourt players. But Green isn’t the type of player who is going to take advantage of that due to his overall lack of scoring.
