DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

LeBron James ($10,700): The King has 112.25 DraftKings points in two games against the Pelicans so far this year. As good as he has been, he has also been content to let A.D. ravage his former team as well. As good as the history against the Pelicans has been, LeBron has only hit 5x value twice in the last ten games at this price. He’s not going to hurt us, but there is better per-dollar value elsewhere.

Honorable Mention:

Kyle Lowry ($8,100): Lowry put up 51.5 DraftKings points on the Bucks the first time around. Lowry steps up when the lights are bright, and they will be here. Lowry has at least 50 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. The Raptors are rolling right now, and Lowry has been a key force behind that. Expect more of the same tonight.

Chris Paul ($8,000): CP3 put up one of his best games of the season on the Bulls in the first meeting. He had 60.5 DraftKings points in that one against a team that is usually pretty tough on guards. I don’t expect a repeat of that, but considering Paul has been breaking 40 with regularity, I still expect a solid game here. That’s especially true if the Bulls can keep it close.

Lonzo Ball ($7,000): Ball has only played once against his former team this year, but it was a strong performance. He put up 37.5 DraftKings points in that one. Ball has turned out to be one of the most consistent players for DFS purposes. He only has one game in the last 15 that was not between 30 and 40 DraftKings points. It was a 47.75 DraftKings point performance against Houston. There’s not a ton of upside, but Ball is perfect for cash games.

Dark Horses:

Tomas Satoranksy ($5,700): There’s no substitute for Satoransky against his former team. He has been pretty good against most others as well. He put up 35.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Thunder. The price hike makes me a little nervous, but Satoransky has been over 5x value at this price in four of the last five games. The bad news is that in the one game he missed, he was in single digits.

Jordan Poole ($5,400): Poole has looked pretty good running the Warriors over the last few games. He has even managed to get his assist numbers up. That was the main knock on him in his first few games running the point. Poole has put up solid numbers is most categories though. That gives him a solid floor and now that he’s playing 32 minutes per game, I don’t mind paying this price.

Ky Bowman ($4,800): If Draymond is forced to miss this one, Bowman may be worth a shot. He racked up 40.5 DraftKings points against the Pelicans in his most playing time in months. Bowman is tough to trust given the inconsistency since even when he plays big minutes, he often doesn’t do much. Still, the price is low enough to throw him in a GPP or two.
