814. . S. Bulldogs . James Williams. 5. player

  • High School: Western (Opa Locka, FL)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 5, No. 1 S

The top safety recruit could be a generational talent. James Williams has a rare blend of size and athleticism that doesn’t normally come as a defensive back. Williams is 6-foot-5 and over 200 pounds, which is incredible size for a safety.

To have the size of a linebacker but move like a defensive back is going to make Williams a special safety at the college level. Along with his talent level, Williams has the tools necessary to be a success.

The thought of Williams coming over the top to lay a big hit is going to be a scary one for tight ends and receivers. Every major SEC program and any program, in general, has been after him. The experts seem to believe he’s going to be playing for the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Georgia

4. player. 818. . DT. Huskies . J.T. Tuimoloau

  • High School: Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 4, No. 1 DT

The state of Washington has three five-star recruits in the 2021 class. The state also has the top-ranked recruit at three different positions. Therefore it stands that Jimmy Lake and the Washington Huskies could end up with a massive haul next year thanks to some hometown cooking.

The other top-ranked recruit in the state is defensive tackle J.T. Tuimoloau. The defensive tackle is a 6-foot-4 and 277-pound defensive tackle that is already a mountain of an individual. The Huskies have been a factory for that mold of player.

From Greg Gaines to Vita Vea to Danny Shelton, the Huskies know how to develop the defensive tackle spot and find anchors to bury in the trenches. Tuimoloau staying home to play for Washington would give the Huskies the next great defensive lineman in their pipeline and would be another centerpiece for what could be a special Washington class.

Prediction: Washington

851. . OT. Longhorns . Tommy Brockermeyer. 3. player

  • High School: All Saints Episcopal (Fort Worth, TX)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 3, No. 1 OT

The top offensive lineman in the 2021 class is Tommy Brockermeyer. The 6-foot-6 offensive tackle still hasn’t announced a commitment yet, but there’s plenty of tea leaves to follow when it comes to his college destination.

His father, Blake, was a Texas Longhorn. His brother, Luke, is currently a linebacker at Texas and his twin brother James is a center in the same class. Being a Longhorn sounds like it runs in the family and is the most likely destination.

Brockermeyer has the potential to be an elite bookend at the next level and beyond. He has plenty of interest from top programs across the country for good reason, but can any convince him to not join Texas?

Prediction: Texas

Buckeyes . Jack Sawyer. 2. player. 812. . DE

  • High School: Pickerington (North Pickerington, OH)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 2, No. 2 SDE

Jack Sawyer could be the next great Ohio State pass rusher. From the school that has produced the likes of Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa and Chase Young recently, the Buckeyes will soon have another young pass rusher to tear things up.

The Ohio product has already committed to the Buckeyes in 2021 and is another defensive end with an incredibly high ceiling. At 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, Sawyer has a large frame to grow into.

Once he grows into his body, he’ll have the opportunity to be a nightmare for opposing Big Ten quarterbacks. He’s a great athlete who also played the quarterback spot for North Pickerington as well as defensive end.

Committed to Ohio State

1. player. 879. . DE. Tigers . Korey Foreman

  • High School: Centennial
  • Composite Rankings: No. 1, No. 1 SDE

The top-ranked five-star recruit for college football’s 2021 class is a strong-side defensive end, Korey Foreman.  The Corona, California product is 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds and has wowed scouts with his size, strength and technique.

Foreman is more than just strength too. He’s a smart pass rusher and can get to the quarterback in more than one way. He’s going to step in right away and help any program that he ends up with.

Clemson has been a place for top defensive prospects to commit lately, so why should 2021 be any different. They’ve proven to be a defensive front factory recently and it should come as no surprise that Foreman’s offered his commitment to the Tigers.
