NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs, and duds for February 29
Scrubs
Robert Covington (at BOS – $5,900 on DK; $6,200 on FD): Covington has been solid with Houston and this is certainly a matchup where he can thrive. He’ll do a bit of everything and Boston will probably do it’s best to limit Harden and Westbrook.
Carmelo Anthony (at ATL – $5,700 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Carmelo can be inconsistent with big games but he’s typically around value. And he really thrives against teams that aren’t very good. N the Hawks aren’t very good. And maybe he you can count this as a revenge game?
Damion Lee (at PHO – $5,3,00 on DK; $5,800 on FD): You can also look at Myles Turner in this spot alas he’s been very good in the last two. But I like Lee in this matchup because he’s a guy who can do a bit of everything. He has high scoring potential in this one.
Kevin Huerter (vs POR – $5,200 on DK; $4,700 on FD): Huerter can be a bit inconsistent but he has a high ceiling and this should be a high scoring game given the way defense is typically played by both squads. He won’t hurt you at this price but expect more.
Daniel Theis (vs HOU – $4,900 on DK; $5,200 on FD): Theis is consistent and is at a good price to save money to snag some top salary guys. Expect Boston to utilize him more in this matchup and he’ll chip in with rebounds as well. He’s a solid guy to round out your roster.
