DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Jrue Holiday ($8,200): Holiday’s numbers have been through the roof lately along with the rest of the team. I can name about seven teams who hope these guys fall short of their push for the 8 seed in the West. The Pelicans are really playing well right now. Holiday puts up a well-rounded stat line every night. The Kings have held him mostly in check so far this year, but I’ll err on the side of Holiday’s recent run of strong games.

Donovan Mitchell ($7,300): Mitchell has 92 DraftKings points in the two games against the Thunder this year, so he’s worth mentioning. The bad news is that Mitchell has gone ice cold in March. He is shooting just 38% from the floor in March. That really limits Mitchell’s upside, but he can light it up with the best of them if he shakes off this cold spell.

Honorable Mention:

Kevin Huerter ($5,800): Huerter has 46.5 DraftKings points in the two games against the Knicks. It’s hard to tell exactly what the Knicks are going to do. Payton played 18 minutes last night and Frank played 29. Good luck figuring the Knicks out. It also makes it hard to target them since you don’t know who they’re running. Huerter is one of the guys that should be solid either way.

RJ Barrett ($5,500): So, the Knicks have resorted to line changes like the Rangers do. That limits the effectiveness of most of the players, but Barrett seems to be the one safe piece. There’s not a ton of upside here, but it seems unwise to completely cut out one entire team on a small slate. Barrett is the safest Knick in a superb matchup.

Buddy Hield ($5,400): Hield lit up the Pelicans for 47.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. Don’t count on that happening with Buddy coming off the bench. Bogdan also missed that game. He still has a ceiling of around 7x value though, so don’t ignore him entirely. The Pelicans aren’t good defenders. They are fun to watch, but not if you like defense.

Dark Horses:

Cam Reddish ($4,900): As with most rookies, Reddish is very streaky. However, when the Hawks run him 30 or more minutes, the consistency seems to show up. Bembry is out and if Huerter’s groin tightens up Reddish could see more run. He’s hard to rely on with the Hawks almost back to full strength though.

Gary Harris ($4,500): Harris has only missed 15 shots from the floor in the month of March. His scoring has taken off and Harris is at 7x value almost every night now. This isn’t a great matchup against Dallas, but if he can keep that shooter’s touch intact, he’ll still clear 6x.
