DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($10,400): It’s a slate with few elite options, especially if the Philly pieces don’t play again. The Knicks are on a back to back, and even though they are statistically tough on point guards, Trae has blown them up twice already this year. Young has 134.75 DraftKings points in those two games. He’s most likely to break the slate one way or the other tonight.

Lonzo Ball ($7,900): Ball lit up the Kings for 55 DraftKings points in the only game he played against them this year. Ball’s jumper is still working well. He has shot 47% or better in every March game. Add that to his strong stats in every other category, and he really is a force right now.

De’Aaron Fox ($7,800): Fox struggled in his one game against the Pelicans earlier this year, but he has been on a roll lately. Fox has at least 35 DraftKings points in every game since the break and has only been under 40 once in the last six games. He’s a strong cash play, but considering he hasn’t gone over 43 either, there’s not a lot of upside.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Paul ($7,600): Paul has 77 DraftKings points in the two games against the Jazz so far this year. He also has 99.75 DraftKings points in the last two games against the Knicks and Celtics, both of whom are in the top ten in fantasy points allowed to point guards. CP3 is rolling again and Utah really has no way to stop him.

Dennis Schroder ($6,200): Schroder’s price is back down to the point where he’s worth using. The cold stretch after the break is mostly over. Schroder has 114.5 DraftKings points over the last three games. SGA missed one of those, but the takeaway is that Schroder was still strong in the other two. He’s worth a shot in the middle tier tonight.

Shake Milton ($6,200): Some of the lust has worn off of Milton. It basically happened when his price spiked. It’s hard for him to hit value at this price. The one game where he went berserk on the Clippers was ten days ago. I expect a solid game against the Pistons, but I don’t see huge upside for Shake. He’s mostly a cash play at this point.

Dark Horses:

Mike Conley ($5,500): Conley has at least 25 DraftKings points in seven straight and 10 of the last 11 games. He’s about as solid of a value pick as you can get. He doesn’t have much upside due to the other pieces of this offense, but the floor remains high most times because of his efficiency running the offense. I understand not running guards against the Thunder though. Conley seems safe since the price is reasonable.

Brandon Knight ($4,900): Knight has at least 23 DraftKings points in the last six games and has topped 30 in three of those. This is exactly what we want from a value pick. He’s priced on the low end of his production and is a legit threat for 7x value. Don’t worry about the matchup. Shake isn’t the defender that Simmons is.
