These 10 Patrick Mahomes highlights are his best yet

1. TD run vs. Tennessee Titans in AFC Championship Game
The comeback kids were at it again. Kansas City faced double-digit deficits in each of its three playoff games this past season. The Tennessee Titans were riding high behind running back Derrick Henry fueling the fire and feel-good story Ryan Tannehill under center. Something had to give, and Tennessee was up 17-14 as the first half was winding down.
With 23 seconds left on the clock, Patrick Mahomes pulled off one of the most important and impressive plays of his career thus far. A couple of head fakes and stutter steps allowed him to escape two Titan defenders attempting to tackle him. That was just behind the line of scrimmage, though, and what ensued is the even more thrilling part.
For the next 15 yards or so, Mahomes would tiptoe down the sideline and gain additional yardage. Apparently, Tennessee must have expected him to either slide or run out of bounds at some point. Instead, he cut back inside, shook off one tackle, spun off another and then forced his way into the end zone.
This was yet another instance in which Mahomes made it known he was the best player on the field. Tennessee’s defenders seemed afraid to hit him hard enough to take him down. As a result, he gave Kansas City the lead heading into the half — and they never looked back.
Patrick Mahomes has already put together a resume most quarterbacks dream about. The scary thing is that he’s just getting started.
