4. Chase Young, DE Ohio State

Is Chase Young going to be around at No. 4? That’s the money question that will be debated all the way up to draft day. Therefore, the Giants should keep him as a target.

The Cincinnati Bengals will most likely draft LSU’s Joe Burrow at one. After that, it remains unclear what the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions do with the picks between the Bengals and the Giants.

Young is the best pass rusher on the board. By a mile. He has been compared to last season’s Defensive Rookie of the Year – and fellow Buckeye- Nick Bosa. Not only has he been compared to him, some believe Young will be better.

If you watched an Ohio State game last season, you know how good Young is. In 2019, he had 16.5 sacks, which brought his career total to 30.5 in three seasons. He also racked up 40.5 tackles-for-loss during that time.

The Maryland native is massive. Standing 6-foot 5, he has speed and lengthy arms to make any opposing offensive lineman have a long day.

It is no secret the the Giants desperately need a true, game-wrecking pass rusher to add to the defense. This makes Young an easy pick if he is there at four.

As far as players to possibly select, this would be the easiest decision for Gettleman to make. If Burrow doesn’t have possibly the greatest season in NCAA football history, Young has a real strong case to be the draft’s first-overall pick.

Nothing wrong with potentially drafting the team’s next Michael Strahan, right?
