Baltimore Ravens full 2020 NFL mock draft
By John Buhler
Second Round
The Ravens have two second-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Their No. 55 pick comes from a trade with the Atlanta Falcons for tight end Hayden Hurst. This pick originally belonged to the New England Patriots, who sent it Atlanta’s way for wide receiver Mohamed Sanu midseason. With this No. 55 overall pick, Baltimore will take USC Trojans wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.
Pittman is the son of long-time NFL running back Michael Pittman Sr., best known as the starting running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl team in 2002. In four years at USC, Pittman had 171 catches for 2,519 yards and 19 touchdowns. His college production and NFL pedigree will be a welcomed addition in this emerging Ravens’ receiving corps.
With their own pick in the second round of the draft, the Ravens will go back into Big Ten territory by taking linebacker Malik Harrison out of Ohio State. Harrison was First-Team All-Big Ten last season, as he had 75 tackles, 16.5 for a loss of yardage and 3.5 sacks in his senior year in Columbus.
At 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, he could be a versatile piece for Martindale to work with. Being able to be a menace behind the scrimmage from the linebacker position is not always easy to come by. Expect the Ravens to get heavy in addressing their defensive front-seven in the upcoming draft.
