Baltimore Ravens full 2020 NFL mock draft

The Baltimore Ravens have nine picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. Here is their latest 2020 NFL mock draft. Who will they end up selecting?

Even though last season ended far from the way they wanted it to, the Baltimore Ravens are having themselves an excellent offseason thus far. They have made several smart moves in free agency, as any well-run team typically does. Baltimore also has plenty of opportunities to get better in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.

For a team that finished with the best record in the AFC last season, Baltimore has nine picks to work with this offseason. They have one in every round but the sixth, plus two in the second, third and fourth rounds. Though their first pick comes at No. 28 in the first round, Baltimore has four top-100 picks and six in the top-150.

The Ravens have primary draft needs out on the edge, at wide receiver and at guard. Their secondary draft needs are at linebacker, wide receiver again and at cornerback. Tertiary needs for the Ravens are along the defensive line, at running back, at center and they could use another tight end.

Overall, Baltimore is great shape to address most of their draft needs in late April. It’s not like the Ravens have a ton of holes to fill anyway, but there’s always room for improvement when you’re chasing a Lombardi Trophy. Without further ado, here is the Ravens’ latest 2020 NFL mock draft.

First Round

You can never have enough good pass-rushers. Even with the No. 28 overall pick in the first round, the Ravens are in good position to get a great one in Zack Baun of the Wisconsin Badgers. At 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, Baun has the speed to bend the edge at the next level. He is coming off a very productive redshirt season at Wisconsin.

Baun was named First-Team All-Big Ten with the 2019 Badgers. He had 75 total tackles, 19.5 for a loss of yardage and 12.5 sacks to end his college career in Madison. Though he has his injury concerns with his foot, Baun showed he could be a productive player when he was on the field in multiple seasons. He had 7.5 sacks during his redshirt junior season in 2018 for the Badgers.

Baltimore is picking in the right spot to address its most pressing draft need in the latter part of the first round. Baun is one of many pass rushers who could come in and make a difference on the Ravens’ pass rush. Look for defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale to quickly integrate him into the pass-rushing rotation.

No, Ravens Flock shouldn’t expect Baun to be the second coming of Terrell Suggs because no one will be, he can be a guy who can provide a great deal of value on his rookie contract for the Ravens. Having a potential fifth-year option to use on a highly-skilled pass-rusher is a pretty good play chip to have down the line if you’re Baltimore.
