4. Jordan Jenkins will make the Pro Bowl

Jenkins isn’t exactly a household name, but he’s steadily become one of the better outside linebackers in the AFC. This season his pass rushing ability is going to be enough to power him to a Pro Bowl berth.

His stack total has steadily climbed throughout his professional career. Last year he managed to get to the opposing signal caller eight times in just 14 games. He’s a good bet to crack double-digits for the first time in 2020.

His job will be made easier by Quinnen Williams’ development into an actual NFL player along the defensive line. Williams endured a terrible rookie campaign which really caused issues for the Jets defense. A rise to competence is going to give Jenkins a lot more flexibility to rush the passer.

That will allow him to become the bright spot in a pretty ugly season for the Jets. The only risk with this prediction is that teams will run the ball too much to give him a shot to rush the passer often enough to make it come true. Teams with big leads tend to cut down on passing the ball down the field. Even so, look for Jenkins to have a career year for a bad defense.
