Pick Analysis. AFC. South. Tennessee Titans. 3. player. Scouting Report. 35

You see a trend here, don’t you? Most of the teams on this list are good enough to win their division, maybe a playoff game or two and nothing more. That’s not bad, but it’s not what you’d hope for out of a team that can win double-digit games in the fall and host a postseason contest. And this is where we find Team No. 3 on this list in the Tennessee Titans. How good will they be?

Tennessee has defined what going 9-7 and not winning a division looks like for the last half-decade. The Titans have won a few playoff games since 2015, but haven’t won the AFC South since 2008. All three of their division rivals have done it at least once since 2014. Though Tennessee might be the favorite in the AFC South next year, do you really trust Ryan Tannehill?

The former first-round pick by the Miami Dolphins caught fire halfway through last year once he usurped Marcus Mariota up the depth chart. Tennessee went on a magnificent run to the AFC Championship game as the No. 6 seed, only to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead. Tannehill inked a multi-year deal, but was last year his new normal or will he inevitably regress?

Like Kirk Cousins with the Minnesota Vikings, Tannehill has a definite ceiling of being the 12th best quarterback in football on a good day. Though a slight upgrade might get the job done, the Titans may need a Tom Brady or Russell Wilson-level quarterback leading them to win it all. Wilson is never leaving Seattle, but didn’t Brady leave New England this offseason? Oh wait, never mind.
