3. G Bryce Aiken – Harvard to Michigan

The last Ivy Leaguer on our list of impact transfers is Harvard guard Bryce Aiken who only played seven games for the Crimson last season due to injury. Aiken showcased his offensive chops in that limited action, averaging 16.7 points per game.

Any program that can land Aiken will be getting a gifted scorer who can shoot from pretty much anywhere and offers elite ball-handling skills as well. That is a godsend for a team in need of a point guard and one squad that certainly fits the bill there is Michigan.

The Wolverines ran with senior guard Zavier Simpson at the point last year, but while Simpson was an elite defender he had deficiencies on offense. Aiken is not as strong a defender as Simpson but is a significantly better scorer, which is a help to a Michigan program that has had its issues putting the ball in the basket in recent years.

The young Wolverines could also benefit from the leadership that an upperclassman like Aiken can provide, making them a potential favorite in the Big Ten. Aiken has game-changing ability so it would be a coup for Juwan Howard to bring him to Ann Arbor.
