Tennessee Titans 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds
By Conor Dorney
3rd round
Derrick Henry’s 2019 season was a sight to behold, but without a long-term extension in place, the Titans would be wise to add running back depth behind him in the event he leaves in free agency next year.
Here in the third round, Tennessee doesn’t have to leave the city to add former Vanderbilt running back and Tennessee native Ke’Shawn Vaughn.
While he isn’t nearly the physical specimen that Henry is, Vaughn plays with a very similar style and demeanor. Capable of dishing out punishment with a vicious stiff arm, Vaughn displays plenty of power as a runner and is the type of guy who will fight hard for every yard when he can’t beat a defender around the edge.
The Titans’ running scheme should be beneficial to Vaughn early in his career as the team looks to prevent unnecessary wear on Derrick Henry’s monster truck tires.
