4th Round

Pick Analysis. player. 811. Scouting Report. Michigan. Khaleke Hudson. 127. LB

The Eagles need depth at the linebacker and safety positions, so why not select a player that can play both? In the realm of skill as former Wolverine Jabrill Peppers, Hudson is a really good combination of speed and toughness. He led Michigan in tackles with 103, playing everywhere on the field from down to down. It helps that he’s a Pennsylvania boy (even though it’s Pittsburgh).

DE. 145. Florida. Jabari Zuniga. player. 840. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

So, a large majority of mock drafts have the Gators expert pass rusher going between round four and five, which is where this pick ends up. However, there is one draft that has the Seattle Seahawks taking him in the first round. We don’t see any chance that happens, but it shows the talent Zuniga has. He has some of the best pass-rushing skills, can play with his hand in the dirt or standing up (an underrated skill), and he plays with major consistency.

His only issue is he can’t stay on the field, playing just five games last season. His combine was impressive, and he may not be available here, but those medicals and the lack of in-person physicals are concerning.

Pick Analysis. LB. Michigan State. Joe Bachie. player. Scouting Report. 146. 805

The Eagles are going to look to upgrade their defense in a big way, and adding a more traditional linebacker in Joe Bachie will do it. He was just a two-star player out of high school, but spent his time at Michigan State to show he has the work ethic and traits to make him successful.

5th Round

168. 879. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. K'Von Wallace. player. S. Clemson

The Eagles are going to be staring at their draft board hoping safety K’Von Wallace falls to them in the fifth round. This players mixture of skill and winning mentality makes him perfect for the Eagles system. Obviously, players taken in the fifth round usually start out on special teams, and he has the skill set to fit on any phase of them.

6th Round

UCLA. 190. player. 836. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. Joshua Kelley

We see the Eagles using their last pick on a running back. They re-signed Jay Ajayi after an injury riddled season, plus Miles Anderson and Boston Scott provide depth, but they need some youth and skill at the position. We would be surprised to see them use a day two pick on a running back, but we wouldn’t be floored.

Here, they get a really good player with their last pick in the draft. When we look at Kelley’s tape, he runs through tackles. He reminds us a lot of Doug Martin.
