3rd round

Joe Brady will be looking for weapons to add on offense and outside of Henry Ruggs III, Penn State’s KJ Hamler is the most explosive deep threat in the 2020 class.

Hamler has his share of flaws with his durability and concerning drop rate, but he’s the type of player Brady would surely love to add to his offensive scheme.

Carolina’s addition of Robby Anderson in free agency seemingly sets the stage for the Panthers to have one of the most dangerous receiving corps in the NFL from a speed perspective, so they decide to get richer in the third round with the selection of Hamler.

Many forget that before his time at LSU, Brady served as a grad assistant at Penn State. That intel connection could help the team feel comfortable with taking Hamler here.
