1. The Packers will miss the playoffs

Betting against Aaron Rodgers is never a safe choice. It’s still the right move as it relates to the Packers in 2020. This team just doesn’t have the roster talent to make another run to the postseason.

It’s important to note that Green Bay drastically outperformed its projected win/loss record last season. They finished 13-3 but only had the statistics to back up a 9.7-6.3 record. It’s hard to imagine the Packers being that lucky again.

The team’s inactivity in free agency also makes it difficult to project any sort of move up the standings. NFL teams that aren’t moving forward are guilty of being passed by. That’s going to happen to Green Bay this year.

Next. Aaron Rodgers needs more help from Packers. dark

They’ll stay in the mix for a postseason berth until the final weeks of the season, but they are going to come up just short in the end. Packers fans will be upset with the franchise for letting Rodgers down in one of the last prime seasons of his career. Time will tell whether or not that outrage will lead to real changes before the 2021 season begins.
