Dallas Cowboys 2020 NFL Draft grades: CeeDee Lamb is steal of the draft
The Dallas Cowboys had one of the biggest steals in the first round with CeeDee Lamb, but how did they do for the rest of their 2020 NFL Draft class? Let’s hand out the Cowboys draft grade.
The Dallas Cowboys were one of the biggest winners when the NFL Draft’s first round wrapped up on Thursday night after the selection of Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Did the rest of the Cowboys draft produce similar results?
CeeDee Lamb was the biggest steal of the first round. There was no way Jerry Jones envisioned any kind of scenario where Lamb would be available when they were on the clock at No. 17. Lamb was viewed as the No. 1 receiver in one of the best classes for the position of all time. He could have been a top-10 pick, so to get him as the third receiver and have him fall in their laps, Cowboys fans should be celebrating. Lamb is the next DeAndre Hopkins and will help draw coverage from Amari Cooper. After catching passes from Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield, Lamb gets to catch passes from Dak Prescott now who will love his unlimited catch radius.
