Miami Dolphins

It felt like the Dolphins had a selection every other pick. Over the first two days, they had six picks. This was a particularly important draft for Brian Flores and Chris Grier.

On paper, those first six picks, and the rest of their selections, look to be promising.

Flores and Grier used their first selection on Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa. Risky due to his injury history, but the pick also carries a ton of potential.

They then drafted tackle Austin Jackson and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene in the first. Day 2, they took another tackle, Robert Hunt, then went defense with Raekwon Davis and Brandon Jones.

Flores will have a lot of rookies in his locker room next season, and they will have a lot of potentials to excel in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns

Andrew Berry did well in his first draft as the general manager for the Cleveland Browns.

Right before Joe Douglas took Becton, Berry selected another high-potential offensive tackle in Jedrick Wills. Wills will most likely play left tackle due to Jack Conklin playing right, which solidifies two important spots.

Later on, Berry went defense. Grant Delpit and Jacob Phillips were taken out of LSU, and Jordan Elliott was added to give some more muscle to the interior part of the defensive line.

Other than at the tackle spot, Berry did not need to waste early capital on the offensive side of the ball. He brought in replacements and upgrades on defense.
