player. 15. . Cornerback. New Orleans Saints. Tyson Campbell. 31

The New Orleans Saints bolstered the interior of their offensive line with their first round pick on Thursday, adding Cesar Ruiz from Michigan. In the third round, they got one of the better linebackers in the draft class, bringing in Zack Baun from Wisconsin, filling a major need on their roster.

In 2021, I like the Saints to add a player who can start opposite Marshon Lattimore for the long haul, and Tyson Campbell from Georgia should be a player that hears his name called in the first round. Campbell is not only an incredible athlete, but has perfect size for the NFL game, and is one of the more physical corners in the SEC.

Safety. Kansas City Chiefs. Richard LeCounte III. 32. player. 124.

The Kansas City Chiefs close out the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft by selecting the best pure safety this draft class has to offer in Richard LeCounte II. Star safety Tyrann Mathieu is still one of the best in the game, and by adding LeCounte, they bring in a guy who can step in and fill that role once the Honey Badger retires.

There is a really good chance the Chiefs make it back to the Super Bowl this season, as they added another good piece to their offense in the first round in 2020 with Clyde Edwards-Helaire from LSU. LeCounte III helps to continue to build a defensive backfield that was much better than advertised last season, as the Chiefs look to continue as the kings of the league.
