Josh Jobe. 29. player. 42. . Cornerback. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers were one of the big winners of the 2020 NFL Draft, as they not only got better via the draft but also pulled off a big trade to get their left tackle. With Joe Staley retiring, Trent Williams will take over protecting Jimmy Garoppolo’s blindside in 2020, as the big fella finally got the trade he was asking for.

Picking late in the first round, the 49ers need to target their secondary in 2021, and they do so by adding Alabama’s Josh Jobe at pick No. 29. Jobe started only two games for Alabama last season, but his talent stands out on the tape, and the 49ers are still looking for a long-term replacement once Richard Sherman retires.

player. 26. . Offensive Tackle. Baltimore Ravens. Liam Eichenberg. 30

The Baltimore Ravens needed help at linebacker heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, and they improved the position in a big way with LSU’s Patrick Queen, and then Ohio State’s Malik Harrison. This is a team with very few issues on either side of the ball, and the hope is they can finally end their one-and-done drought in the playoffs this season.

This offseason, Pro Bowl offensive tackle Marshal Yanda retired, leaving the team a bit weak at the guard position. In the 2021 NFL Draft, Baltimore could look to bolster the offensive line, but at offensive tackle, where a guy like Liam Eichenberg from Notre Dame could be a solid fit protecting Lamar Jackson’s blindside.
