4. Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE

Another first overall pick – this time in 2014 – Jadeveon Clowney is surprisingly waiting for a team to bring him in.

Clowney spent the first five years of his career with the Houston Texans, the team who took him number one overall six years ago. He had an up and down career with the Texans, getting off to a slow start due to injuries, but settling in enough to where the Texans used the fifth year option on him in 2018.

After 18.5 sacks in his final two years with the Texans, Clowney still didn’t merit big time money from Houston. Rather than shelling out a large chunk of change for Clowney, Houston agreed to pay $7 million and ship their former top pick to Seattle. Clowney did okay for the Seahawks, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be heading back there in 2020.

Teams are always up for adding high impact defensive players, but Clowney’s past injuries and the price tag he has attached to him is why he’s still sitting unsigned heading into the month of May.
