BYE WEEK: NONE

Game of the Week: Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. This is going to be epic.

Tampa Bay went from being one of the biggest league afterthoughts to a must-see team with the signing of Brady. Instead of watching Jameis Winston throw one pick after the next, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans may be poised for career years with Brady at the controls. Additionally, TampaBay has one of the NFL’s best defenses down the stretch of 2019, one that will be tested on this night.

Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champs come to the site of Super Bowl LV looking to eventually make a return trip. The Chiefs are the favorites in Vegas an the eyes most experts to win again, led by Mahomes and the league’s best set of weapons in Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins.

Both of these teams are expected to make deep runs and while an interconference matchups isn’t always the sexiest matchup, this is the exception. We’ve already seen Brady and Mahomes match up three times, and each occasion was a classic. This should be no different.
