The Chicago Bears were a disappointing team in 2019, but are they poised for a rebound during the 2020 NFL season?

Things can change fast in the NFL, and the Chicago Bears are living proof of that. After going 12-4 in 2018 the Bears slumped last season to an 8-8 record, finishing in third place in the ultra-competitive NFC North. Are the Bears poised for a big rebound in 2020? Let’s go game-by-game to predict the fate of the 2020 Bears.

Weeks 1-4

The Bears blew out the Lions twice last season, but this matchup is considerably closer. A few big defensive stands make the difference as Chicago picks up another win over Detroit.

The Giants are still rebuilding and their offensive line is still shaky. That is a recipe for disaster against the Bears’ pass rush, who harass Daniel Jones all day in a 27-7 rout.

This is another game the Bears were expecting to win but it doesn’t go their way. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have their way against Chicago’s secondary, connecting for a pair of touchdowns in the win.

This contest is a sneaky good matchup between two underrated teams but Chicago’s home-field advantage is the difference in the end. Indianapolis’ questionable secondary gets exposed by a few big plays out of the Bears’ passing game.
