Overall Record: 14-2

Home Record: 7-1

Away Record: 7-1

The Saints have gone all-in on the 2020 season and it should pay massive dividends. Despite facing a very challenging schedule, New Orleans is well-positioned to make a deep playoff run.

The fact that we have given the Saints this record is a sign of how strong our belief is in the talent on the Saints’ roster. The only reason that New Orleans was playing on Wild Card weekend in 2019 with a 13-3 record was losing tiebreakers, something the organization will be obsessed with winning in 2020.

It also is a big help that all three of the Saints’ toughest games (against the Packers, 49ers, and Chiefs) are all at home. There may not be a bigger home-field advantage in football than the one the Superdome provides for the Saints, and it will play a big role in their success in those games.

This record ensures that the Saints have the top overall seed in the NFC playoffs, ensuring the road to the Super Bowl goes through New Orleans. It wouldn’t be at all surprising to see the Saints come marching into Tampa Bay next February for a shot at Drew Brees’ second Super Bowl title.
