Rob Gronkowski

When healthy, Rob Gronkowski was one of, if not the best tight end in NFL history. Gronkowski is a three-time Super Bowl champion, with five Pro Bowl appearances and four All-Pros. In 115 games, Gronkowski has 521 catches for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns.

Since joining the league in 2010, Gronkowski has been Tom Brady’s top target. During his rookie season, Gronkowski had 10 touchdowns. He followed that up with a 17-touchdown season in 2011. Gronkowski has had four 1,000-yard seasons in his career.

In the playoffs, Gronkowski has 130 catches for 1,163 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s made a career out of being consistent and solid on the field when healthy.

After retiring last season, Gronkowski will be making a return to play with Brady in Tampa Bay. It’s fair to assume Gronkowski will be staying with Brady until he retires in a few years. So, will Gronkowski be just as effective as he was in New England?

Expect Gronkowski to have his best numbers if he sticks around with Brady. This second leg of his career could prove him to be the greatest tight end ever, and without question.
