Ty Law

Ty Law is one of the greatest defensive backs in NFL history. He played with the Patriots from 1996-04, winning three Super Bowl and four AFC championships during that time. In his time with the Patriots, Law had 36 interceptions and six touchdowns. He also made the 2000s All-Decade Team.

One of the biggest plays in his career was intercepting Kurt Warner for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXXVI. In the 2003 AFC championship Game, Law intercepted Peyton Manning three times, while also holding Marvin Harrison to three catches for 19 yards.

In 2017, Bill Belichick opened up about Law:

"“Yeah, a great player. Really no weaknesses in Ty [Law]’s game. Strong, physical tackler, jam receivers, good coverage player, great hands, interceptor, I really enjoyed coaching him in 1996 as the position coach and just spending a lot of individual time with him as his coach.” Belichick said."

There’s a lot to like about Law and the way he played on the field. Still, it took him multiple attempts to finally make it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019. Ultimately, he ended up earning the ultimate honor for a football player, and a rightful one in his case.
