Pick Analysis. NFC. South. New Orleans Saints. 15. Scouting Report. 3. player

This one might seem surprising to some, but 2020 very well could be the final hurrah for Drew Brees despite being under contract for two more years.  Brees has been in talks to become a broadcaster whenever his playing days are over, so this could be it for the 41-year-old Saint.

The Saints only had four picks in the 2020 NFL Draft and had a questionable strategy. They needed to address cornerback, wide receiver, and a few other defensive positions, but instead went with a center, tight end, and quarterback with three of their picks.

New Orleans is going to draft a quarterback in next year’s draft whether Brees is returning or not. They only signed Jameis Winston to a one-year deal, so him taking over isn’t a sure thing. Because they could be making a change at quarterback, naturally the Saints are going to be excited for next year’s draft.

Unlike the other teams on this list, New Orleans is definitely going to be a playoff team in 2020 (New England could be too, but it’ll be tough with a nobody at quarterback), but it’s still eager for next year’s draft.
