Green Bay Packers will miss playoffs if Aaron Rodgers isn’t healthy for 16-games

If anything happens to Aaron Rodgers, the Packers are cooked. Jordan Love wasn’t drafted to be the guy anytime soon, so if he’s forced to take over it could very well end in total disaster.

Plus, historically we’ve witnessed how quickly things go downhill for the Packers whenever Rodgers misses time. In 2017 he played in just seven games and guess what? Green Bay missed the playoffs because Deshone Kizer couldn’t step up to the plate.

Rodgers might be 35 years old, but he’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and if anything happens to him – just like if anything happens to any team with a franchise quarterback – the Packers will pay the ultimate price.

Keeping Rodgers healthy is key if the Packers want to win games and make the postseason in 2020. If he goes down, so do their playoff chances.

Even with the playoffs expanding to include one more team in 2020, the Green Bay Packers aren’t a lock to make it. With a lack of new weapons, a tough division, and the always fearing possibility that Rodgers could get hurt, there are plenty of reasons to assume the Packers could miss out on the postseason.

Hopefully they’re able to overcome all of these things and make it into the playoffs because even at 35 years old, Aaron Rodgers is one of the most fun quarterbacks to watch.
