Las Vegas Raiders trade target: Leonard Fournette

Trade for Leonard Fournette and run a two-back system.

A two-back system in Las Vegas could be lethal if done right with Fournette pairing to play with standout rookie rusher Josh Jacobs. Moving the chains and controlling the clock is a winning formula. What better combination to knock off the Chiefs than by doing those two things which also keeps Patrick Mahomes off the field.

This duo could be reminiscent of the old Los Angeles Raiders backfield when they had both Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson on the same team from 1987-90. Okay, well may be not as talented as those two legends, but Fournette and Jacobs could be dominant enough to make this a top-three rushing attack in 2020.

While this proposed two-back system may not be a long-term solution, this attack could make them very successful in the short term. With a strong offensive line, this pairing could take them deep in the postseason.

Additionally, Fournette wouldn’t come at a steep price. It stands to reason the Raiders could land him for a third-day pick and make a decision on his long-term future after the 2020 season.
