9. Philadelphia Eagles

They won a Super Bowl just two years ago, but the Philadelphia Eagles are well-positioned to claim another one. Injuries at the wide receiver and cornerback spots really hurt the Eagles a year ago and better luck on the health front alone will boost Philadelphia’s title odds.

This will also be a huge year for quarterback Carson Wentz, who has guided the Eagles to three straight postseason appearances but has only appeared in one game due to injuries. The presence of Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia’s second-round pick, gives the Eagles insurance in case Wentz has injury woes again.

The Eagles also benefit from a weak NFC East where they should be able to pick up four free wins against the Washington Redskins and New York Giants. Those victories mean that Philadelphia would need just five or six more wins against the rest of their schedule to get into the playoffs.

Postseason experience is one huge advantage that a lot of players on Philadelphia’s roster have, so it could be massive if they do get to January. That factor could be the difference for the Eagles to add the franchise’s second Lombardi trophy.
