The Cardinals are full of breakout potential. With the addition of DeAndre Hopkins and the expected maturity of Kyler Murray, let’s see if they can live up to the expectations in 2020 or if they will crumble under pressure.

Christian Kirk (currently ranked as: WR40): An improving WR, Christian Kirk comes into his third NFL season poised to breakout. Yet to play a full season in the NFL (12 games in 2018 and 13 games in 2019), the hope is that Kirk can finally play in all 16 games. I sense that the addition of Hopkins is diminishing his value, but if anything, I think it increases his value. All the attention will be on Hopkins, and to a smaller degree, Larry Fitzgerald. Kirk will be able to exploit all the 1 on 1 opportunities he gets and he will flourish.

I expect a big season out of Kirk, certainly better than the WR40 he is being drafted at. He also has been very unlucky with touchdowns to start his career. In 2019, he had 3 touchdowns, all of which came in one game. I expect this offense to be much improved and he will have many more scoring chances. Let’s just hope he can put it all together and stay healthy. Kirk is worth the risk at his current price. WR40 seems like his floor, and anything better than that will be a return on value. Go scoop him up.

Moving on to the Los Angeles Rams.
