Pittsburgh Steelers: LB Brian Urlacher (2000 1st Round)

Imagine how much fun it would have been to see Urlacher become the leader of a modern-day Steel Curtain. Pittsburgh didn’t see linebacker as a need at the time, taking wideout Plaxico Burress one pick before the Bears took Urlacher.

Burress went on to be a solid receiver with the Steelers who was more well known for his time with the Giants.

San Francisco 49ers: S Jamal Adams (2017 1st Round)

The 49ers made a savvy move in the 2017 draft by trading back a slot to let the Bears reach for Mitchell Trubisky, but they wasted the pick on defensive tackle Solomon Thomas. The production they have gotten from Thomas has been underwhelming, which led to the 49ers declining his fifth-year option this spring. The better value would have been Adams, who has quickly become one of the NFL’s best safeties with the Jets.

Seattle Seahawks: TE Travis Kelce (2013 3rd Round)

The Seahawks went on to win the Super Bowl in 2013 but their one regret from that year has to be missing out on the opportunity to add Kelce to the offense. Kelce has gone on to become one of the best tight ends in football, a spot Seattle has been trying to fill for years.

The Seahawks missed Kelce by one pick, using the last pick of the second round on running back Christine Michael, who was a bust.
