Out with the old, in with the new. Joe Burrow should provide many exciting moments in his rookie season. He will make watching a Bengals game enjoyable…..or at least tolerable. But, one of Burrow’s WR’s needs more attention…

Tyler Boyd (currently ranked as: WR32): I am sure Tyler Boyd isn’t the only player happy to have Joe Burrow on his team. In 2020, Tyler Boyd surpassed all expectations. He finished with 90 receptions, 1046 yards, 5 TDs, and most importantly, a WR18 finish.

It’s not hard to convince someone that the Bengals will be better this year, at least for their fans sake, I hope they are. Joe Burrow will reignite this offense and make them a respectable unit. This WR32 ranking is bogus. People think the return of ‘always-injured’ AJ Green or John Ross will affect his targets, I just don’t see it.

In fact, the return of both of those players will only increase Boyd’s fantasy potential. He will frequently see single coverage which he has shown the ability to beat consistently. The Bengals don’t want to put Burrow in a bad position. They want him to get comfortable and they will do so with plenty of short to intermediate throws across the middle to Boyd.

Not to mention that Joe Burrow frequently targeted the slot during his times at LSU. Boyd’s floor at worst is WR25, which is great return for his current ranking.

Moving on to the Cleveland Browns and one of their pass catchers.
