Breakout Fantasy Football players in 2020: AFC North
There aren’t many more nicknames better than Hollywood. Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown is poised for a breakout sophomore season. Hindered by injuries last year, Brown is ready to get back on the field and help his team get to the Super Bowl.
Let’s break it down some more.
Marquise Brown (currently ranked as: WR33): Marquise Brown started his rookie season with a bang. Week 1, he lit up the Dolphins for 4 catches, 147 yards and 2 TD’s. Granted, everyone on the Ravens lit up the Dolphins as they won 59-10. Surprisingly enough, Brown never broke the century mark again, that is until the Divisional Round against the Titans when he put up 126 yards on 7 catches. Given the dominance of the Ravens run game last year, I expect even more attention to be given to stopping the run, leaving Marquise to zoom past defenders for long touchdowns.
There really aren’t many options in the Baltimore passing game for Lamar Jackson to throw to. We’ve seen Lamar and Marquise practicing together this off-season and they look ready to take off this season. While I understand the risk in drafting someone like Marquise given his injuries and his ‘boom or bust’ nature, the talent and potential just can’t be denied at this spot. If you are looking for a consistent, high floor WR in this range, draft Tyler Boyd (see above). Marquise is poised for big things this season, we just have to hope he can stay healthy and that he ends up on your team.
Last but not least, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
