Patrick Mahomes is the total package that franchises dream about

Personality has myriad definitions and could encompass a wide-range of different aspects of being the face of an NFL franchise. Personality is about leadership, willingness, coachability, media relations and using your platform to do good.

Jackson certainly scores highly in all those categories. He’s beloved by his coaches and teammates, something seen after seemingly even win last season at press conferences. Around the league, he’s viewed as one of the hardest workers.

However, Jackson is matched in this regard by Mahomes. The Chiefs’ quarterback showcase his leadership during the 2019 playoffs, where he thrice led Kansas City back from double-digit deficits to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl in 50 years.

As a rookie, Mahomes did not take a single endorsement deal – instead choosing to focus on developing and learning from Alex Smith and Andy Reid while working towards building on the team culture that already existed in the locker room.

Mahomes has controlled Kansas City, and the Chiefs team, since his first start in Week 17 of his rookie season. Additionally, Mahomes has taken over the NFL on every level, supported most recently by his participation in the players’ Black Lives Matter video that prompted action from commissioner Roger Goodell.

Finally, beyond his participation in the BLM video, Mahomes been integral in pushing forward a social and community agenda, too. From starting and pushing forward his community based foundation, “15 and the Mahomies,” to recently teaming up with LeBron James to push voter registration ahead of the 2020 election cycle; Mahomes has been active in the community and nation, working to push us forward.

Mahomes may even get a Whataburger in Kansas City! How could we not go with this guy?
