4. Houston Rockets: James Harden and P.J. Tucker

Before Russell Westbrook fans grab their pitchforks, consider that Harden and Westbrook would be a tough sell against literally any team with a big man. Tucker has taken all kinds of defensive assignments in his career, and has a jump shot that can’t be ignored.

That makes him a worthy companion for Harden, who has no problem taking all the shots. And considering that Harden is one of the best isolation scorers of all time, he can take Houston pretty far.

3. Milwaukee Bucks: Giannis Antetokoumnpo and Khris Middleton

Another pretty obvious duo, the Greek Freak and Middleton are easily one of the best pairs in the league. The favorite to repeat as Most Valuable Player has immense gravity with the ball in his hands, and can handle every defensive assignment on the planet.

Middleton is an excellent shooter and fine defender who will just have to pick his spots. As long as he’s hitting open shots and Giannis isn’t stymied at the rim, this team is as good a bet as anyone to win the whole thing.
