11. Wisconsin Badgers 2019 Fauxback

The 2019 college football season marked 150 years of college football. Every team in the country rocked a 150-year patch to represent this milestone and several teams wore throwbacks inspired by the sesquicentennial anniversary.

Two of those teams both met at the end of September wearing said uniforms. Designed by Under Armour, both the Northwestern Wildcats and the Wisconsin Badgers stepped out on the field in their 150 years of Heritage uniforms and battled in a game that was closer than what the box score entails.

The Northwestern Wildcats uniform looked great. Purple pants and purple helmet to go along with a white jersey that had a purple “NU” across the chest. Simple, clean, and better than what they’ve been wearing as their usual home and away uniform.

The Badgers, on the other hand, did not wear uniforms that looked good. It is very hard to pull off a uniform in which the helmet, the jersey, and the pants are all three different colors, especially when those colors are red, white, and tan. A simple fix is turning the pants color to white but I get it, they were going with an old school look with the pants so maybe change the color of the helmet but that might have them higher up on the list. It is really hard to rock tan or brown, just ask Wyoming and Bowling Green, who have to do it on a weekly basis.

It was a good idea but Wisconsin should take their loss on this one but hey, at least they won the game.
