10. Colorado State Rams “Ag Day” Alternate

In 2017, the Colorado State Rams had one of the more creative and best looking alternate uniforms to ever be worn on a football field. The Rams wanted to represent their beloved state by wearing a uniform inspired by the Colorado State flag. They wore an all-white uniform combination, with a double blue stripe going down the pants and in the middle of the helmet, with the state flag “C” being on both sides of the helmet and on each shoulder of the jersey.

It was a great look and it was a step in the right direction as the Rams have had few mistakes in their alternate uniforms.

Before they were known as the Rams, Colorado State was known as the Colorado A&M Aggies and wore the school colors of forest green and dark orange proudly. So back in 2016, the Rams started a new tradition by wearing a hideous alternate that represented where the school began during their Ag Day Festivities.

The combination of these two colors says enough of how bad a look this was but to make the orange the primary color on the jersey with a solid green pants combo was crossing the line on sanity. And do not even get me started on that helmet. I’m sorry but can any Rams team actually make a good uniform?

The Colorado State Rams were inspired by their past for this uniform but sometimes it is best to leave things in the past where they belong.
