. . . Los Angeles Angels. 2. team. 102

With an expanded postseason, the Angels need to fine-tune every little spot on their roster to make sure that Mike Trout’s first October action in several years lasts longer than a handful of games in the early rounds. Trout’s fellow outfielders aren’t Murderer’s Row, as Justin Upton, for all the good he’s done in his career, is starting to falter and Brian Goodwin is solid, but uninspiring. Frazier could change all of that if Joe Maddon moves for him.

Frazier, should he fix the defensive issues that continue to plague him, has enough juice to smack one or two clutch home runs that could give the Angels a leg up on all the other AL West teams chasing the Houston Astros. Given how old Upton and Albert Pujols are, Frazier and, eventually, Jo Adell, could combine with Trout to form one of the next decade’s most dominant outfields.
