Pick Analysis. CB. De'Jahn Warren. 4. Scouting Report. Lackawanna Community College (Scranton, PA). player. 806

Could the Nittany Lions enter the junior college recruiting market for 2021? Well, they could be in line for one of the best JUCO prospects in this cycle in cornerback De’Jahn Warren of Lackawanna Community College over in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The four-star defensive back prospect from Hyattsville, Maryland is the No. 2 JUCO prospect and the No. 1 player in his position group.

Warren has 31 official offers at the FBS level, but is looking at joining one of these five Power 5 teams: The Georgia Bulldogs, the Maryland Terrapins, the Oklahoma Sooners, Penn State and the Tennessee Volunteers. Penn State seems like his leader, as that’s where the 247Sports recruiting experts have him going to. Keep an eye on Georgia too, as they’ve recruited well in this region.

Co-recruiting coordinator and defensive backs coach Terry Smith is serving as Warren’s primary recruiter to Penn State. Smith previously served as running back Miles Sanders’ primary recruiter out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a few years back. If he can land a phenomenal player like Sanders, he can help get Penn State one of the very best JUCO prospects in this cycle.

Overall, Warren will probably stay “in-state” and play for the Nittany Lions. Georgia is an intriguing team as well. Let’s not overlook Warren possibly want to play for his home state’s team at Maryland. Surely, he’ll end up at one of those three programs, with Oklahoma and Tennessee likely on the outside looking in. Penn State has a good opportunity to get an elite JUCO player in Warren.
