2. The receiving corps is elite

The Browns receiving room might be difficult to manage because of all the big personalities present, but that doesn’t mean it’s a group bereft of talent. When you look at Cleveland’s receiving corps from top to bottom there’s a lot to get excited about.

Odell Beckham Jr. might not be a superstar any longer, but he’s still a very productive No. 1 wide receiver. Jarvis Landry gives Cleveland’s offense a sure-handed No. 2 wideout that is capable of picking up any slack that Beckham might leave.

The real strength of the group now resides at the tight end position. Hooper isn’t a good in-line blocker but that’s not what he’ll be asked to do in this offense. The former Falcons star will be expected to get down the field and put pressure on opposing safeties. His speed and catch radius make him really difficult to match up with on an every-down basis.

Browns opponents would be well-served not to forget about David Njoku. Expect Stefanski to deploy a lot of two tight-end sets to get his best playmakers on the field. Njoku can cause a lot of problems for opponents that try to cover him with a slot corner.

The depth of this receiving corps is one of the biggest reasons why Cleveland has legitimate Super Bowl aspirations heading into 2020.
