NBA DFS guard plays

The build is a lot easier on DraftKings today. FanDuel is thin at the point and loaded at SG. This entire slate is loaded, and the pricing is extremely tight on DraftKings. We have to make some tough decisions.

If Westbrook sits, we need to lock in Harden everywhere. I don’t trust Austin Rivers, but Ben McLemore becomes a nice play if Westbrook is out.

I like both Denver guards and Gary Trent for value if Murray remains out. Even if Murray plays, we can still run CJ McCollum out there with Harris and Barton still sidelined. I’d lean more towards CJ than Lillard anyway. The huge savings on both sites will come in handy.

The presence of Eric Bledsoe makes the entire Bucks backcourt unplayable for the price in DraftKings. Maybe you can take a chance with George Hill, but it’s still risky.

I hate Reggie Jackson’s price on DraftKings. On FanDuel, he’s a strong play at a weak position with Beverley out. Still, I doubt he hits value for his price on DraftKings. I’d much rather play Monte Morris for $1,000 less.

To put this in perspective, Reggie is more expensive than Victor Oladipo. Oladipo is on a minutes limit, but they said he’ll play between 28 and 32 minutes. That’s a great potential return for his price point, especially on DraftKings.

Lou Williams is in the same boat. He’s on an undisclosed minutes limit, but we’ve seen him light up the scoreboard in 25 minutes or less many times. I love the upside for his price, especially on FanDuel if you’re willing to punt one SG slot.

There’s a ton of value in the Miami backcourt. Kendrick Nunn has been awful since the restart, but Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro are both strong plays with Butler out. Herro could be the best bargain on the board tonight on both sites.
