NBA DFS guard plays

Today we basically have Luka, Westbrook, and three G-League games. I’m not kidding. There is so much value on this slate that you can run both of them in a lineup with relative ease. It’ gets marginally harder to add Lillard to the mix, but it’s worth considering. Lillard has 168 DraftKings points in three games against Dallas this year.

I don’t know that I would run Lillard over Westbrook with Harden out, but in large field GPP’s, it’s a way to separate yourself a little bit.

The Suns still have not lost a seeding game, and it’s all Devin Booker’s fault. Today he gets a Philly team that is resting may starters. The ceiling on Booker is higher than anyone except for Luka. He’s cheap enough, especially on FanDuel, to be a building block.

I want to see who’s sitting before I run Ja Morant at Boston. I’m guessing that Kemba plays around 25 minutes or so, but that’s enough to move me off of Morant with all of the other good guards in plus matchups today.

If White is out, I’m going after Patty Mills, not Dejounte Murray. Murray has more upside, but Mills is more likely to hit value and is a whole lot cheaper. That’s going to matter on this slate.

The Bucks aren’t going to do much other than break a sweat against Washington, but I do like running some Wizards back at them. Ish Smith and Troy Brown Jr. in particular. Brown’s price is high enough on DraftKings that you he’s going to be tougher to fit in.

Quit sleeping on Bogdan Bogdanovic. He has at least 34 DraftKings points in three straight games and is still cheap on both sites. He’s going against a gutted Pelicans squad that isn’t good defensively even when everyone is playing.

We’ve seen this movie before from the Nets. It was just on last week. Most starters sat and most of the bench failed to live up to their inflated prices. Chris Chiozza is my favorite guard punt from them, but I don’t really see a lot of upside. Johnson has the upside, but routinely kills your lineups.

Ben McLemore is still in play with Harden out. I like him even more since most are going to flock to Austin Rivers after his huge game over the weekend. Rivers is a decent play and has more upside, but he’ll sink you if he has a bad game. McLemore wont.

I’m a big fan of J.J. Redick against the Kings with Holiday out. Josh Hart is a strong play too.

Cameron Payne loves the bubble. Only Miami has held him under 5x value. The Sixers aren’t going to be able to pull that off. I also like Alec Burks on the other side since he routinely outplays Shake Milton.
