3 trades the Phillies need to make to save their season

The Phillies’ bullpen is giving up more than one run per innings in 2020, which comes off as even more shocking considering that one of Girardi’s strengths during his time as Yankees manager was managing the bullpen. Their shambolic bullpen is preventing Harper and that lineup from getting to the postseason, and trading for someone like Bradley will be a major step towards rehabilitating that unit as a whole.
Bradley assumed the closer role last season in Arizona, and he’s continued to play well in 2020, saving four games and allowing just one run in 6.2 innings. Bradley should be in Philadelphia’s sweet spot, as he is too good to stick around on a Diamondbacks team struggling to win in the NL West. Bradley would take the closer role away from Hector Neris and finally give the Phillies a bullpen that doesn’t make everyone from Philly to Bucks County dry heave.
