1. Dallas Cowboys

It should not be a surprise to see the Cowboys as the top team on this list, as Dallas have been linked to him since his Seattle days. Thomas even told former head coach Jason Garrett to “come get me,” in a game a few years ago, so he clearly has a desire to play in Dallas.

If Thomas still has the same feelings about playing for the Cowboys, he may have to take a significant pay cut. Per Spotrac, Dallas has just $6 million in cap space, but the connection with Thomas remains compelling.

With Xavier Woods the current starting free safety, Thomas would immediately step in as the top man in the secondary. The Cowboys added plenty of talent on defense, signing HaHa Clinton-Dix, Everson Griffen, Aldon Smith and Dontari Poe in the offseason.

Thomas could be the cherry on top, and with a loaded offense expected to put up big numbers, could make the Cowboys a true Super Bowl contender. If the Ravens cut him, Dallas will absolutely be in the mix, but money is the only question mark.

If Thomas chooses to chase a bigger contract over his preferable landing spot, the Cowboys may be out of luck. Ultimately, his own priorities will be the deciding factor.
