FanDuel will be providing a large number of DFS contests for this week’s 2020 BMW Championship. Let’s take a look at this event from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my FanDuel player selections I wanted to clearly state that the purpose of this article is not to provide a specific lineup. Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a FanDuel GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my FanDuel player selections for the 2020 BMW Championship!

Dustin Johnson $12,000

As I evaluated the current listed field for the BMW Championship, I did my best to find a legitimate reason to fade Dustin Johnson this week. However, I could not find any data that supports fading Dustin. Johnson, is simply playing outstanding golf.

Johnson has four top 12 finishes in his last six events on the PGA Tour, including two wins, the Travelers Championship in June and last week’s Northern Trust.

Jon Rahm $11,800

The 25 year old Spaniard has played 13 events on the PGA Tour this season. In those 13 events played, Rahm has eight top 17 finishes, including a win at the Memorial Tournament in July.

Rahm also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Rahm is currently ranked fourth in strokes gained off the tee (.785), seventh in strokes gained tee to green (1.307), and fifth in actual scoring scoring average (68.88) on the PGA Tour.

Scottie Scheffler $10,600

The American arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top four finishes, including a fourth place result at the PGA Championship earlier this month.

In relation to the current listed 2020 BMW Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Scheffler ranks second in strokes gained tee to green, seventh in strokes gained approach, and ninth in strokes gained on par fives.

Kevin Kisner $9,700

Kisner has five top 25 finishes in his last six tournaments on the PGA Tour, including a third place result at the Wyndham Championship two weeks ago.

Russell Henley $8,800

The 31 year old American has three top nine finishes on the PGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the Northern Trust last week.

Henley is currently ranked third in strokes gained approach (.898) and 14th in strokes gained tee to green (1.087) on the PGA Tour.

Robby Shelton $7,100

Shelton has five top 13 finishes on the PGA Tour this season, including a third place result at the 3M Open last month. In my opinion, Shelton presents outstanding fantasy golf value at a FanDuel price of only $7,100.
